Riviera Redesign

The customer here wanted to update the look of that boat as he's been having it for several years. We have had good experience with Stamoid as it is easy to clean and very durable so we mentioned it to the customer and he really seemed on board as his other boat friends also used that fabric with us when doing their enclosures. Makrolon was used on his enclosure because of the high visibility and durability.

On top of that he wanted a solution to having shade on this cockpit area. We gave him the option of making a bimini top. This would mean installing the deck mounts and hardware to assemble the frame on the boat. This ended up not a great option for him as he wanted a shade that was able to be put on and off relatively easy. With this now in mind we suggested a sunshade. It consisted of a 4 piece that assembles to become one large bow and would slide into a rod holder. Then the cover would attach using the fasteners on the front. It sounded like a great idea for him. We had drill holes for the rod holders to be screwed on. This is determined by the angle of the rod holder and how far back the customer wants the sunshade to go. Once we installed the rod holders and the frame, we began the construction of the sunshade. Everything was held secure by 2 webbing straps pulling the poles back for a tight fit.

The customer was thrilled to finally have shade and on top of that, easy to use!
